Baby box

Hi all!!

Today I have a baby box to share with you. It is completely made of dies. Here are some pictures.
I actually wanted to do a cradle and started the project with the same in my mind, but finally it turned out to be a simple box or you can call it a storage box to keep baby's little things. I made this for one of my church member who is expecting after around 14 years of their marriage. So the baby is going to be absolutely special for everyone of us. As a token of love I thought of giving her this. Since in India, we don't  know whether its going to be a baby boy or girl, I made this to suit any :).

All sides are made of Spellbinders ornate rectangles. And has been attached on another rectangle die.
Here are some side views

I cut the dp with the same die the smaller size and cut around the edges to create the center part. Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish ,some prima flowers and baby words stickers  for embellishments. Hope you liked my creation. Thank you so much for visiting me today and all your loving comments.

Thank You card

Hi all!!

Hope you are doing well. Thank you all for such friendly well wishing comments on my last post. I m very thankful for you such loving blog friends.
Today sharing with you a Thank you card I made for my son's Teacher. As the academic year is coming to a close, I wanted to Thank his Kindergarten teachers. So as a first, I did this for his class teacher.

Starting with a pink cs, I adhered floral pattern paper from Lucky season and then adhered  papermania paper and on top a doily lightly distressed with tattered rose DI. The girl picture, the apples  and  thank you are die cuts from papermania.

Here are some close ups of the card
(Sorry for the poor pictures, the card has all light colours and there was too much light in the room when I took the pictures.)

I like the roses so much!! do you? I have some rose plants in my terrace garden, here is a view from my window and that's my inspiration for the Unstampabelles challenge

Thank you so much for visiting me today and all the precious comments.

Glittery Christmas and a Happy New Year

Hello friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas ! Wishing you all a Blessed and Prosperous New Year!!

I made some glittery carol cards for my church children coir which we formed for the last Christmas and 2014 Christmas was their debut. They sang "Hark the herald and Joy to the world". I printed those songs and attached them inside these cards.

I made around 12 of them. I hand wrote the Merry Christmas with golden glitter pen and used 3d glitter glue for the bells. The borders are ribbons. These I made them in between each practice session. Apart from that didn't get much time to craft during December month. Except few Christmas cards.

Here is a Christmas card I made:

The Scripture is from Word Art Wednesday and the tree and stars are hand cut. I applied some glue and then used fine glitter powder. Oh, yes it was very messy :) But I love the out come.Linking this card with: CreativeColorsChallenge #26

Wishing you all Peace and Joy of this Christmas season to continue as we step into the New Year.

Hope this New Year is filled with all the blessings from above!

I'm reminded to share this Scripture with you.

II Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Wishing you all a joyous and blessed New Year!

Flower Birthday card

Hi all!

Hope you are doing well. Today I'm sharing a  flower shaped card I made for my little niece on her birthday. I cut out a  flower shape from a 12 x12 card stock, painted with pink and white acrylics and then did the embellishments. Used 3d glitter for outlining. (I have to improvise in using that!! ).

Here is the card and the cover.

(Sorry for the messy table, it was a last minute photograph!) And couldn't find a large cover for the card so transformed the a4 green envelope into a simple cover :). The single flower is store bought and the other flowers from tattered floral die set.

Here's the inside of the card

The small flowers were punched out  and stuck some sequins on them.

Thanks for visiting me today and all the lovely comments :).

Altered tissue box

Hello friends,

Hope you are doing well. Today I'm sharing with you an altered box. I decoupaged the box with decoupage tissue paper and then embellished.

Here is the box I altered
Yes, as you can see, because of  the grooves in the box, decoupaging was little difficult. I cut an oval shape in the center to make it look like a tissue box.

I layered two layers of tissue. Went with blue and pink color theme to embellish.

Those flowers are from Prima and the crystal flourishes as well. The black flower is from stash. And the butterfly is Monarch butterfly die from Frantic stamper.

Hope you liked my alteration.

Thanks Giving

Hello friends,

Happy Thanks Giving in advance to all!

Since this month is Thanks Giving month, I'm really happy to do a card for the same. It's not only this time of the year, we are thankful, but I think, this is a good way to remember all that the Lord has done for us and be thankful! Though we don't celebrate  Thanks Giving in our country, I think we should since it has lot of meaning ( I personally feel this way ~ smile~). And I'm always reminded of the season Fall and thanks giving always together

Beyond Grey Challenges have their Fall challenge this month. Though I made the card inspired the beautiful fall colors, I've made the sentiment relating to Thanks Giving.

Here's the card
I had the base of the card which was watercolored by me. I dabbed dried marigold and vintage photo distress inks and got the base done. The beautiful paper is from the Bo bunny paper pad which dear Grace had sent me. The song paper is a print out from Little birdie blessings blog. Thank you Abby :)
With the EK success border punch I punched out the border and distressed with Vintage phto DI.
The alphabets are self adhesive stickers.

Hope you liked the card. Happy Fall and Happy Thanks Giving :) God bless!

Hanging card for a sweet baby girl

Helllo friends,

Happy to meet once again :).  Made a card for  a sweet little baby girl which will be apt for her room.

Here it is

Staring with a purple card stock I layered a cream one inking with vintage photo distress ink. Then another purple cs inking with seedless preserve distress ink. Spell binders decorative label holding the sentiment which was downloaded from the internet. I liked it, so simply went with it by downloading and printing.
Some embellishments to add a little charm on the card. Planning to give it to a mom to be. Hope she will like it!

Finally came up with this card.

The image is a gift from Catchy challenges.

Thank you girls! I colored it using color pencils and sketches. I don't know whether I've done it rightly!

My sister had got me that double colored quilling paper. It was unused for a long time, so thought wil make a flower with it.That's it. The rest I think you can figure out :)
