Happy to meet you all once again. I'm so happy for you all, who stop by my blog , read and share your comment every time. I'm so privileged to share your friendship. Thank you for following my blog and making my followers no 50. :-).
In this post, I'm sharing with you a Vintage Birthday card. I love vintage types :). Even visiting museums and heritage sites and collecting info about the past (history)is on my "interests" list. I also love ceramics(tea cups) and clothes(with laces) of vintage types. I think I'm sharing this for the first time :). Please do share if you too have similar interests.
I didn't make a vintage type creation before, since I thought, if I make, it should be a proper one and was so hesitant to start.
So this time, I loved making this card and sharing it with you. I cannot say, I achieved the best but was so happy to have started.
Here's my card:
I started with a cream card stock and layered a red on top of it and then the pattern paper. I've also used the red oval die cut from itsy bitsy and distressed the center die cut with frayed burlap-distress ink. The sentiment is stamped with momento ink-rich coco. The small roses are ready made and the leaves are hand cut and distressed.
The lace flower is hand made(my first attempt).
Hope you like my card and please do share your thoughts on it. Thanks for your visit today and your valuable comments.

Such a beautiful creation and love the use of lace
ReplyDeleteFabulous vintage card. I too like the use of lace and pearls.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite cards from you, Sarah :) I love anything vintage and this is simply perfect. Hug to you, friend!
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteWhat we call vintage is what was vogue years back/ I like the lace top and bottom, reminds me of the lace on the curtain tops and the bottoms of the blinds. The sweet roses and greenery. I enjoyed seeing your lovely art today and thank you for sharing it with us.
