Inspired by the sketch at The Shabby Tea Room blog, I created this card, also having in mind, the "BGC sweet tooth challenge".
Recently I found myself making vintage type cards with a real interest :).
So, this what I came up with.
Starting with a red card stock as base, created the background patterned paper on top of it, by distressing white card stock with tattered rose distress ink and used my own stencil for those flowers.
The white rectangle box is a die cut inside of which contains an embossed bg (textured impressions-country foliage). And it also contains another die cut which holds the quilled cupcake and the sentiment.
The pearls, laces, a vintage flower and a bow from organza ribbon are added for a shabby look.
Hope it has turned out well!!.
I really miss my visit to your sweet blogs!! Trying to catch up soon :).
Thank you SO MUCH for your sweet visit today and for sharing your lovely comments.
