Lavender birthday card

Hello everyone,

Today I'm sharing  a birthday card. This has some very special additions :). One is the lavender lace which I bought recently and the very special addition  is the mini fanciful flourish die from cheery lynn designs. After learning about stamping and using die cuts in the craft projects, I slowly started adding things to my stash too :).

I've stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with Momento sweet plum and inked the edges of the center die cut with the same.

Have added two quilled flowers.
Roses, pp, cardstock -local craft store
 Butterfly is from itsy bitsy.

Hope you enjoyed my card.

I'm also very happy to share the happy news of winning the Terrific Top Three at The Shabby Tea Room .
This is a very special win to me because it was the first shabby type card I've ever made.I thank the dt of the shabby tea room and you, my special friends for leaving such encouraging thoughts on the card.

Thanks for your sweet visit today and lovely comments :).

  2. In reading the post, it's easy to tell you've been bitten by the craft bug to add more 'schtuff to the stash'. Dies & laces are wonderful additions - I especially love dies & EF's. Hunted up some old lace from the sewing room, and need to start using it. Your lovely lavender lace was so pretty & feminine on this pretty vintage card and loved yoru new CL flourish too. It will be so versatile. This lovely card has a great color and so many wonderful details for the eye to enjoy. TFS & Hugs
