Hope you all are doing well. Today I have a very different card. Different card meaning different from all the cards I've made till now :). I used my distress inks to create the background. A grungy looking masculine card.
Take a look at it.
I've used two distress inks. Frayed Burlap and Bundled Sage for the bg. The numbers and alphabets are sponged through stencils through frayed burlap. The black and white lace was sent to me by dear Grace. The tag is from my stash and added some twine around. The stamps are from "Hot off the press" small stamp set. Stamped the clock and fussy cut it.
I've tried to give a "diary" kind of look to the card. I tried my best to use whatever I had with me to make this card. Hope my first try for a masculine card has come out well!
Thanks for visiting today and leaving your wonderful comments.

you did a terrific masculine card, for me these are the hardest to do and you achieved it! Love the letter stencil you used and the tag goes perfectly with the ribbon, time clocks are always good for a guy card!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful masculine card, with the time theme. You know, I don't think I've ever tried those 2 DI together, and what a beautiful look you achieved. It looks like suede marble cloth. Loved that gorgeous lace too, and such a beautiful contrast to the soft tans & beiges. A perfect color for the card mat or base too. I love it! Well done. TFS & Hugs
