Hi all!
Hope you are having a good week. Today I have a scripture card made with Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture stamp. As per the challenge, it is a white on white card. I embossed the bg with trellis (Corture Creations) embossing folder. And added just one quilled flower so as to keep it simple and few white self adhesive pearls.
Here's my card.
My stamping skills has just started improving. So please excuse me for the not so good stamping in this card. Also please suggest me some good inks preferably for stamping senitments. It would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful card Sarah. The white on white is so elegant and I love the beautiful quilled flower. I've used Versafine Archival Instant Dry Pigment Ink for years. I find it gives a crisp clear impression which is what you need for sentiments. I do not recommend it for use with alcohol markers though. Hope this is helpful. Pat K xx
ReplyDeletehi sarah
ReplyDeleteit s such a lovely card... love the trellis BG u hav embossed, looks elegant. And i also use Versafine Black for stamping sentiments, its good. Hav a good day
This is truly stunning, Sarah! Another wonderfully inspirational make!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend! xx
This is beautiful. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous job on this, love your quilled flower, and like the extra dimension the embossed background gives. My favorite ink for stamping sentiments is Memento brand die ink. It seems to work great on the clear stamps and the rubber stamps. Chalk inks seem to not work as well on the clear stamps for me. When using a stamp for the first time always ink up real good and stamp on a scrap piece of paper a couple of times before using it on your project it helps to condition your stamp
ReplyDeleteIts so Elegant card Sarah !
ReplyDeleteOh, Sarah, your card is beautiful, and the quilled flower is amazing! I just love this verse too, and it really pops on the embossed background! Great job on the white-on-white challenge! I've used Versafine Black for my sentiments (when I've not going to color over them!!). So glad you've joined us again this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card Sarah from the embossed background, beautiful quilled flower and especially the scripture you chose! Versafine ink is the only ink I use for words. Thanks for joining us this week at ODBD!
