Four drawer easel card

Hi all!!

Hope you are well wherever you are! February is about to end and soon its time for the blog candy draw. If anyone is still interested please feel free to join. I always appreciate your visits and lovely friendship!! You can see the candy post here. As I already said, in addition to the winners news, I have another good news to share with you. Please do check in the first week of March.

Now onto my card. This is going to be a little longer than my usual short posts :)

I've never tried many types of cards, except easel card and some few fold cards. I always stick to the normal card making, which I myself got bored!! :) So for a change, I tried an Easel card with four drawers. And tried to make the card as much as shabby chic as possible.

As you can see I kept on adding flowers till I was satisfied and the center white flower is the lace flower hand made, which I mentioned in previous post.

Now with the drawers opened, (a special waiting for you:) )

its yummy chocolates sitting inside each draw :).

The candies in one of the drawers  have gone inside while I was the taking picture :). Hope you can see a small quilled cupcake on the left side.

Here's a closer look at it:

Now the card closed:

A close up of the flowers:

The other side:

Some details of the materials that have been used
Dcvw French Country Paper stack and Lucky Season paper pad.
Flowers-lace flower hand made, other flowers store bought.
Corner charms and antique  key charm
brads and laces
Die cuts
Stamps: Inkadinkado
Prima Engraver crystals

I must frankly give a special mention to the white self adhesive fabric tape from Lulupu store, used here. Its simply superb!! For a lace lover like me, the first thing came to my mind when I saw self adhesive fabric tape was, how can a lace be self adhesive!! But I must say, that I was overwhelmingly satisfied and have used one full roll for this card. Simply I couldn't stop using!! :). This is my honest opinion!.

Thank you for your sweet visits and lovely comments. Entering this for the:

ODBD Scripture card

Hi all!

Hoe you are all doing well.
Today I'm sharing with you a Scripture card I made. Its a color inspiration challenge which should include one ODBD product.. I've used the "Peace on Earth"  scripture from the Christmas stamp set.
Here's the card:

The inspiration picture:

Starting with a white Card Stock, adhered a red pp from Ciao Bella Paper pad. The another white card stock embossed with sizzix Country Foliage embossing older. A double bow with a golden tulle and Cheery Lynn Flourish fr embellishment. The inking around the sentiment was done with a sponge for which I regreted:(. I should've done with the regular ink applicator.. the card stock is very smooth, almost silky!! Good learning!

Hope you liked my card.
Thank you for your sweet visit today and the lovely comments!

Vintage style wedding card

Hello everyone!

Excited to show today's creation :). Made a vintage style wedding card for my cousin who is getting married next week. This is for that special couple.

Here's the card:

I said I was excited because, the lace flower you see is hand made. After viewing several videos on how to make lace flowers, I ended up making my own. I've hand stitched the laces on a piece of white cloth at the back. I've also made few more in white which I will share in the upcoming projects.

A closer look at the flower

The pp I've used is from DCWV. . I hand cut the hearts and have embossed with Courture creations trellis embossing folder. The die cut is from Anna Griffin collectables. I really wanted it to include in this card but I ordered it only yesterday. Priya from The craft shop was kind enough to send it immediately. Today I got my package and finished the card. The stamps is from Inkadinkado.

Hope you liked my card :). Please share your opinion about the lace flower:) I'm very eager to do more of them :).

Thank you so much for your visit today and all the lovely comments.

Valentine card

Hi all!

Thanks for your support for my blog candy. Hope those who didn't enter your name, will enter soon :)
You can find the link here:

It's time for a blog candy!!!

Okay, now onto today's post.

Made a valentine card, and this time a shaker card. For the first time I've tried shaker card. Here is the picture. Will give the description below the picture.

Starting with a pink card stock, layered a red one and then the two pattern papers, one punched with ek success daisy punch. Then I did the shaker part. Here is a closer look at it.

I made a square with white card stock then using double tape layered another square(hand cut). Put some heart sequins inside and  then I layered a  transparent sheet from packing material. And decorated the sides with lace. I cut open a square before adhering the pattern paper, inserted this shaker box and then adhered the pp.
The hearts are also and hand cut. The butterflies are monarch dies I think. Forgot the name of the company. The sentiment is stamped with two different stamps. The word Love from HOTP small stamps and you from We are memory keepers.A cheery Lynn flourish and used a joy craft die to decorate the shaker box.

Thank you so much for your visit today:)
