ODBD SKETCH

Hi all!

Hope all of you are doing well. Climate is changing drastically these days. We in the Southern parts are getting  severe cold air in the evenings and early mornings. Northern India is facing severe fog for the past two months. Read about the severe cold air in the Eastern parts of the United States as well. Hope you are safe wherever you are.

 Sharing with you a scripture card I made with odbd sketch.

The sketch I followed

 The papers are from DCWV French country package. I just love them :). A doily on the left with a spell binders oval frame carrying the scripture. The tiny butterflies are from Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks Giving

Hello friends,

Happy Thanks Giving in advance to all!

Since this month is Thanks Giving month, I'm really happy to do a card for the same. It's not only this time of the year, we are thankful, but I think, this is a good way to remember all that the Lord has done for us and be thankful! Though we don't celebrate  Thanks Giving in our country, I think we should since it has lot of meaning ( I personally feel this way ~ smile~). And I'm always reminded of the season Fall and thanks giving always together

Beyond Grey Challenges have their Fall challenge this month. Though I made the card inspired the beautiful fall colors, I've made the sentiment relating to Thanks Giving.

Here's the card

I had the base of the card which was watercolored by me. I dabbed dried marigold and vintage photo distress inks and got the base done. The beautiful paper is from the Bo bunny paper pad which dear Grace had sent me. The song paper is a print out from Little birdie blessings blog. Thank you Abby :)
With the EK success border punch I punched out the border and distressed with Vintage phto DI.
The alphabets are self adhesive stickers.

ODBD Scripture card

Hi all!

It's a joy to meet you once again through my blog post! Today I'm sharing a scripture I made with Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set.

 Here's the card:

Starting with a cream card stock I layered a light blue one and then my dp from DCWV French stack. Gave a lace border this time and then placed the frame with scripture. The beautiful blue flowers are from petaloo sent by dear Grace :) , the center small blue flower is locally bought. And I've used the joy crafts butterflies and the crystal flourishes.

So happy to meet once again!. Hope you are doing well. Monsoon has set in our part of the world, so Chennai is getting some good rain and the climate is pretty cool too :). Praise God!

Today I have a scripture card to share with you. This was also a quick and easy one to make. The scripture is from Word Art Wednesday. I bought the jewel and pearl  strips during my visit to Itsy Bitsy store.

Jen at Faith Hope and Love Scripture challenges, wanted to add some thing sweet to the card. So I've added that cupcake sticker.

Hello everyone!!!

Hope all of you are doing well!I missed you all these days. I see lots of beautiful creations and other beautiful posts all around , hope I'll catch up with everyone soon:).

So after giving a short break for crafting did a scripture card.
Here's what I came up with:

Yes, as you see, some are some new items I got for my stash,(along with a confession, that only after using what I've hoarded till now, will I buy the next set!!!, hope I will keep up my words at least to myself :)) the spell binders decorative label and the cheery lynn stacker flowers dies. I distressed the flowers with dried marigold and then misted them with Lindy Stamp Gang cactus gold. I love the way it shimmers coordinating with the ciao bella paper. The scripture stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

For the border, I used a musical washi tape , a ribbon and a lace.I've also done stamping behind it. Hope it's visible.

Hello crafty friends,

It's good to meet you once again through this post.

I did this card with the inspiration from Our Daily Bread Designs blog's challenge this week.

The challenge is to create one layered cards. I've used my Corture creation embossing folder for this card and stamped my scripture with Archival Ink this time. Thanks for the many suggestions on the same.
The blue satin ribbon was sent to me by dear Grace and the small bow is a locally bought one. Small flower rhine stones for a little embellishment.

Hi all!
Hope you are having a good week. Today I have a scripture card made with Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture stamp. As per the challenge, it is a white on white card. I embossed the bg with trellis (Corture Creations) embossing folder. And added just one quilled flower so as to keep it simple and few white self adhesive pearls.

My stamping skills has just started improving. So please excuse me for the not so good stamping in this card.  Also please suggest me some good inks preferably for stamping senitments. It would be of great help.Thanks in advance.

Thankful Heart

Hi all!
I'm so glad you could stop by today to visit me. Hope you are doing good. Today I have a quilled card to share with you all. It's been quite sometime I shared my quilling. Though I'm not an expert :D. I did this sometime ago,but didn't post it. So today I got to share with you all :).

This card carries the Scripture: "In Everything Give Thanks". It is from Karen's Paper craft Memories. I came to know Karen through the beautiful Word Art Wednesday Challenge.

Being Thankful is one of those wonderful attitude God expects from us. I'm so thankful for every new day, new sunrise, new life. I'm sure all of you do.

Hello everyone!

It's a very busy time of the year, Hope everyone is preparing for something or the other.

Today I have a scripture card, a photo inspired one from Our Daily Bread Designs blog.
Below are the inspiration photos.

 

 

I chose the first photo, and here's the card:

 The floral rug and the color green were my inspiration. The pp is digital scrap booking paper from 'Free Pretty Things For You' blog. I used a cream card stock as base, layered a cream green paper and then the pp. The die is Itsy bitsy's fancy panel dies. I stamped the scripture from odbd "Thank God" set with frayed burlap distress ink.The flower is also from Itsy bitsy collection.

Hello friends,

I recently participated in a "Blog Hop" conducted by Our Daily Bread Designs blog, and was selected as a random winner to win some of their stamp sets. I've done this card with one such stamp. I love the scripture stamps from ODBD and all the designers' cards. So I made this card with lots of enthusiasm :).

This week AT ODBD they have provided a sketch and that made my job lot easier.And this is the first time I'm participating in the ODBD challenge.
Here's my card:

 

Starting with a blue card stock layered a white one on top and then pp from Papermania. Another white CS embossed with country foliage ef and on top are itsy bitsy's fancy panel die cuts. I made a double bow this time with instruction from the web.
