ODBD Scripture card

Hi all!

Hoe you are all doing well.
Today I'm sharing with you a Scripture card I made. Its a color inspiration challenge which should include one ODBD product.. I've used the "Peace on Earth"  scripture from the Christmas stamp set.
Here's the card:

The inspiration picture:

Starting with a white Card Stock, adhered a red pp from Ciao Bella Paper pad. The another white card stock embossed with sizzix Country Foliage embossing older. A double bow with a golden tulle and Cheery Lynn Flourish fr embellishment. The inking around the sentiment was done with a sponge for which I regreted:(. I should've done with the regular ink applicator.. the card stock is very smooth, almost silky!! Good learning!

Hope you liked my card.
Thank you for your sweet visit today and the lovely comments!

Glittery Christmas and a Happy New Year

Hello friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas ! Wishing you all a Blessed and Prosperous New Year!!

I made some glittery carol cards for my church children coir which we formed for the last Christmas and 2014 Christmas was their debut. They sang "Hark the herald and Joy to the world". I printed those songs and attached them inside these cards.

I made around 12 of them. I hand wrote the Merry Christmas with golden glitter pen and used 3d glitter glue for the bells. The borders are ribbons. These I made them in between each practice session. Apart from that didn't get much time to craft during December month. Except few Christmas cards.

Here is a Christmas card I made:

The Scripture is from Word Art Wednesday and the tree and stars are hand cut. I applied some glue and then used fine glitter powder. Oh, yes it was very messy :) But I love the out come.Linking this card with: CreativeColorsChallenge #26

Vintage Green - Deep Red - White PLUS Add a Glitter

Wishing you all Peace and Joy of this Christmas season to continue as we step into the New Year.

Hope this New Year is filled with all the blessings from above!

I'm reminded to share this Scripture with you.

II Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Wishing you all a joyous and blessed New Year!

CAS Christmas tree card

Hello dear friends,

This week I'm finding myself posting on a daily basis! :). Today I'm going to share with you a CAS (Clean and Simple) card. I made this along with my quilled tag set. If you had missed that post you can view it here. But I got to post it only now.

So here's my card.

When I was visiting Sindhu, at "trapped in craft" I came to know about CAS-ual Friday blog and the DT inspirations from that blog really inspired me a lot. And the theme was perfect for my card. So without delay I decided to post this card.

Traditional Christmas

Hello dear friends,

Today, I'm sharing the card I made for Twist of faith card challenges. The theme is "Traditional Christmas".  Along with the card, we have to write about a tradition we follow for Christmas. First goes my card. I've used the embossing folder "country foliage" to create the background for the prissy poinsettia image.

Now onto my card.

I colored the digi image with water color pencils and fussy cut it.

Now to the tradition part,  we hang stars in front of our houses and distribute cakes to our neighbors. This is followed by almost everyone who celebrate Christmas here in India. And as a family's tradition, we used to visit our grand parents and get blessings from them.

Hope you enjoyed today's visit. Thank you all!

Quilled Christmas Cards

Hello dear friends,

It's nice to meet you all again through my post. I think Christmas season has begin to set. This time I'm planning to send my handmade cards to my family and friends. I've made some quilled Christmas cards.

These are the simple one's I've started with.
In the first card, I've made the poinsettia flower and stamped the nativity scene and stars. Thank you Grace for the beautiful stamp set :).

In the second card, I've used the digi stamp Merry Christmas I won at Eureka Stamps.
I also made a card with the scripture from Word Art Wednesday blog.  And here it is.
The verse says

I would like to add the song we used to sing in our Sunday School

"The birdies in the tree top
Sing their song
The Angels in the chorus, sing along
The flowers in the garden lend their hue
So why shouldn't I
So why shouldn't I
Praise Him too"

When all the creations declare the glory of our Lord, Why shouldn't we praise Him too, for all the good that He has done for us.

Thank you for visiting me today and your sweetest comments always.

A Glittery Christmas card

Hello everyone!
Thank you all  so much for your beautiful comments on my previous card. That was really encouraging.

Since, I liked the fold I used in the previous card so much, I decided to do one more card with the  same fold. This time it is a Christmas card. Inspired by Pooja's glittery rein deer in the BGC blog, I decided to use it on my card too :).

I cut  the print out of a jumping rein deer and filled it with golden  glitter glue enormously! :) I like working with glitter but sometimes it's messy ;).

Secondly I used some die cuts which came along with the pattern paper and glued their borders with glitter again. Third, I made a tag which is at the center fold and glittered it around :). The tag has three strips of pp and lace borders. And then I've made a small window type box which will open to read the message. So that's it folks. No more boring...!! Here is my card:

The card, when opened:
And a full view of the card :

That tag is for decorative purpose and I loved making it :).

A Christmas card

Hi dear friends!

Hope all of you are doing great, and your week is going fine :).

For today's post, I made a Christmas card with some handmade paper flowers and glittered them thoroughly, :) , since I planned  to post it for the GLITTERIFY challenge at the catchy challenges.

This is my first try in making paper flowers. With the help of some video tutorials and inspired by many beautiful crafters in this blog place, I too decided to jump and try my hands on this beautiful craft. And here's the result:

The three big flowers and the leaves are fully hand cut and painted with pearl white paint and then glittered. The three small ones are punched ones. Enjoyed making the flowers:). Planning to try more.

I've been missing my turn of visits to your beautiful blogs off late, will try to catch up with you guys :).

Thank you for your lovely visits each time and for your lovely comments.
I'm entering this card for the GLITTERIFY - Anything goes with Glitter / sparkle. challenge at Catchy challenges.

See you soon.

Christmas card

Hi dear friends!

So nice to be meet you  all again through my another post. My little fellow is very active these days and I'm happily playing with his lego toys and cars:)

I made a Christmas card last week with the new pp I purchased. I already mentioned about it. Since  I liked the pp very much, and it had included die cuts, my hands were itching to make a card with that paper set.

Here is the card.
Thanks to my dear blogging friend Grace for her sweet gift set which included the flower and ribbon I've used in this card. Please overlook the measurements:)

Thank you for visiting me today.

My First Christmas card

Hi all!

For today's post I've made a Christmas card. This is the first one I'm making one for  Christmas, ever since I stared making cards.

I've used the sketch from "Twist of Faith card challenge" blog.

And here is my card:

The pp is Paper mania and it had some die cuts included. The bird image is one such die cut and I've glued it to a punch paper cut with a circle  cutter and added the pearls .

Thank you so much for your valuable comments. I appreciate each one of your time and kind words.

Thank you for visiting me today.
