Hello dear friends,
Hope you are enjoying your week. I was off for some days due to some personal work. Also, our neighborhood is under rain water drainage construction and you can imagine the plight of our internet at this time :(.
Now onto the post.
I did this gift box for a real special person :) will soon reveal it. Mean while please take a look and give your feed back.
My friend gifted me a craft set which included three plain boxes and I've converted one of them into this :
For a closer look, here is another picture of the gift box
I painted the white box with pearl metallic pink, and have added flourishes and beads. I've also added a ribbon on the side of the lid of the box. Have two more boxes to work on.
Enjoyed painting the whole box, with my favorite color :). Hope it has come out well.
Thank you for visiting me today, and I really enjoy your comments always :)

Felt Garden
I think "felt" is a very helpful and a cute craft material. I've made the following craft with those cute fabrics. Hope you'll enjoy!
The following pictures show how to make a "felt garden".
Choose any colour felt fabric, draw petals for the flower
and cut them
Now the flower is ready. Draw some grass and leaves in a green felt and cut them
Cut stems from a brown felt
Now arrange and glue them to the desired base. I used a cardboard, glued a blue felt on to it, and have used it as a base.
Let it dry and then add a message.

Now, take another contrasting colour and cut a round shape for the center of the flower. Cut two center pieces. This is to hold the petals both front and back
Now,glue the petals one by one to the center piece
Finally, glue the second center piece

3D Art
Nowadays, it seems my little fellow is giving some time to mama to continue her art work:-). However he wants mama to be near him while he's busy playing with his toys. Here is what I came up with when I was a little "not busy":-)
I painted a canvas and did some 3D paint work on it ,with a scripture, so that it will be a memorable one for my son.

Pen & Pencil Holder
Happy Women's Day to all my dear blog friends:-)
I was doing some cleaning in my home, and I found some empty cartons lying in the shelves. I also had some craft papers lying without being used for a long time. So I came up with this idea of making a Pen & Pencil holder for the office table in our home.
A closer look at the flower
The following picture shows the carton and craft paper I've used to make this Pen & Pencil holder.
This is a very easy to do craft. You can also try this with your kids. They'll enjoy making their own.

Bird Feeder

| Recycled Plastic bottle- Bird Feeder |
March 20 is celebrated as World Sparrow Day. As I was reading an article in today's newspaper about the WSD and the disappearing sparrows, I thought of contributing something from my end. Thus came up with the idea of making a bird feeder.
Though buying a bird feeder is much easier, I thought of reusing some old plastic for this purpose.
I've used a old plastic bottle and other simple things you could find around your home.
You will need:
1) Any plastic bottle
2) Wire or string
3) Wooden pegs
4) A long plastic spoon
5) A knife or a pair of scissors to cut holes
Tie the wire to the bottle cap by making a hole in the center of the cap.

Fill the bottle with bird food and close the bottle with the bottle cap.
Hope you have a nice time with your feathered friends.
