Good times

Hello everyone!

Hope you are doing well! After some two weeks, I worked on my craft table. Days seems to fly! So today I'm going to share with you a card I made for the Unstampabelles challenge. The theme this time is Time and also shabby chic. My fav!!  and I really wanted to create some thing. Had a clock paper cut out with me for sometime and thought I'll put that to use. So Here's the card

Everything inked with Vintage photo DI. The design paper is Ciao Bella and the sentiment too.

Hope you enjoyed your visit.

Fall best wishes card

Hi all!

Hope you are doing good wherever you are. Its been quite some time I made something with my paper craft materials.

So suddenly this thought jumped and wanted to something bright to stir up my craft mind!! And what better card will be than a Fall card! I love this season, hope to see it some day!

Finally came up with this card.

The image is a gift from Catchy challenges.

Thank you girls! I colored it using color pencils and sketches. I don't know whether I've done it rightly!

My sister had got me that double colored quilling paper. It was unused for a long time, so thought wil make a flower with it.That's it. The rest I think you can figure out :)

Thanks for visiting me and leaving your precious comments!

A note of appreciation

Hello friends!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for pinspirational challenges. I was inspired by the light and dark shades of brown in their "picture for inspiration".

This is an appreciation note. And here goes my card

I've inked the edges of one of the die-cuts and punched out some flowers. I kept it simple as I thought the sentiment speaks everything! :)

Please do convey your thoughts about this card and Thanks so much for visiting me today!

I also Thank all my followers for choosing to follow my blog! "Thanks a bunch" :)

Pretty In Pink

Hi dear friends!

As the title of today's post indicates,  have made a pink birthday card. However it's not fully pink, because have given some green touch with my new distress ink.( My first card using distress ink).

I distressed the punched flowers and even the flourish to give an extra touch to the pink card. Made this card for the pretty with p challenge @ the Itsy bitsy  blog.

I 've incorporated all the p's suggested by itsy bitsy. Pink, Pearl, Pattern Paper and Posy.

And here is the card:

Thank you for visiting me today. I loved all your comments for my previous post and thank all you so much :)

Fall colour challenge

Hi all!

Our internet is down once again and we have to switch to another new connection. Though, this new connection is a little slow, I'm happy that I'm able to post this card, which I made for the "Fall Colour challenge" at BGC.

Though we don't get to see seasons change, here , I love fall or autumn season and the colour change that happens.

Now with the photo inspiration at BGC,  I've used all the four colors they've mentioned. And here is my card.

Since I liked the quote, which Nikita from BGC has used on her card, I decided to use it too:)

Inspiration photo:

Part of the photo which inspired me to create the card is the arrangement of the harvest fruits in the last picture. I've always loved "Thanksgiving" so much and this picture represents it well.

This is for today. Thank you dear friends for visiting me today and for all your lovely comments.

Anniversary card

Hi dear friends!

Today I've made  an Anniversary card . It was very easy and quick too. I've done some quilling to decorate my card.

The special thing about the card, is the paper, which I found at a gift store. It was  actually sold as a gift wrapping paper. But, since to me it was more like a Patterned (craft )paper, I decided to buy it and made a card as soon as I came home :-)

And here it is:

To me, the hearts are made of chocolate :-) That's y the colour:-)

And I did only a little bit of quilling so that the paper will be in focus. The ribbon is from Grace's gifts.

Hope you enjoyed your visit today. Thank you all.

Latte Special

Hi dear friends,

Today's post is very special, as it is about "Coffee"  :) which is my favourite drink. As I came across a new challenge blog called "Beyond Grey Challenges" , I decided to participate, as soon as I saw the theme coffee.

WARNING  :-))
This post is going to be long, SO PLEASE HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE BY YOUR SIDE, SIT BACK,RELAX, AND ENJOY!

And now to my card

I had an old magazine cut out about a place in India, where coffee plantation is done. And I decided to use that in my pretty vintage type card. I also preserved the vintage type paper that came along with some embellishments, and decided to put it in use.

The challenge said to incorporate stitching any where in the card. So, I stamped my sentiment and attached it to felt background by stitching. Stitching on the felt was little tricky, as I was doing it almost in the borders. Made a bow with white satin ribbon, and attached a small piece of quilling strip at the centre of it.

On the inside, I've placed real pictures of two coffee cups on one side, and on the other side, I've stamped a sentiment all over a little piece of old canvas  to create a background and added one more sentiment in the centre. I've also added a small felt coffee cup stitched in the borders and the handle is a quilled oval.

Here is my card.

A closer look of the sentiment and the bow:

The background stamped sentiment says: May your birthday be special as you are.
Used Rich cocoa ink for stamping using Fiskar's clear stamp set.

Now with my  favourite coffee mugs:

Hope you liked the card.

A Pearly blue card and a bit of my blogging story

Hi all!

Yes, as the title says, the card I've made today is a little pearly.   Also a little bit about my recent blogging adventure.

I liked working with the adhesive pearls so........much, that I decided to use them as much as I can!

And, I've also made some flowers with my petal punch and have added a quilled circle as base for the flowers.

Here is the card.

The next photo is without flash, just to know the colours better.

A Pink Birthday card

Hi all!

Today I've made a birthday card based on the colour pink. I've used my punches to make small flowers and some adhesive pearls to decorate the flowers and the card. Painted the punched flowers with pearl metallic paint-pink. The  sentiment is hand written.

I had some pop up  stickers which were waiting to be used. Since the colours went along with my pp, I decided to make use of them.

Here is the card

Card making

Hi all! In my search for making scripture cards, I ended up learning a new "Paper craft -Stamping technique." The previous posts have some of  the ideas which  inspired me  and made me try my hands on it. (The punched flower  B'day greeting card is one of them). And I'm so excited to have new friends in that field:).

Though, making a scripture card is my ultimate aim, I'm gaining knowledge in this new craft, as I keep doing these simple B'day cards. The previous one I made, was for my sister.

Now here is the second card, I've made for my friend who's celebrating her b'day today. And, I felt a little improvement making this one:) Hope she likes it.

Inside of the card

I've left space on both sides for sentiments.

I'm also very excited in submitting this card for

B'day Greeting card

Made this Birthday greeting card with all the little things  I had at home. I just  love the paper I've used, which has cute roses all over.

Recently got a flower punching machine. With that I punched those cute white flowers and added small sequin embellishments  on them.  Hope it's visible!
