Gift box

Hello dear friends,

Hope the New Year has started well with you. Today I'm sharing with you a box I made for my mother's b'day. This is my first attempt in making a gift box. I've always liked Sunehra's way of adding pearls to the borders and have included in my box as well. I should also mention another inspiration Huseena who makes the most beautiful gift boxes :).

Here is what I made:

The itsy bitsy camden cottage flower and butterfly decorate the box along with a diecut and distressed sentiment holder at the centre. And the box has a white lace around it and pearls on the borders.

I chose the scripture card I made previously and a lavender sachet  to keep inside the box.

Hope my first attempt in box making has come out well. Please let me know! Hope to "see" you all soon :). Thank you for visiting me today and for your lovely comments!

  5. This is my kind of gift. Scriptures and lavender, in a box. It is delightful. I admire anyone who can attach pearls along a straight line. Thank you for sharing this marvelous card with us here at Word Art Wednesday.
