Shabby birthday card

Hello crafty friends,

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Today I have a birthday card to share with you, which I made with the inspiration from The shabby Tea Room. I created my own pale green pp for this card. But it;s not visible in the picture :(.

The vintage birthday greetings is from Little Birdie blessings. Dear Abby provides such beautiful inspirational pictures. Do visit her blog for more inspirations.Thank you Abby.

Here's my card:

I layered pink card stock on a white one and then used the green pp. I made it by painting a light coat of Faber Castell paint. Then added some layers for the digi and the favorite part was embellishing. I purchased these cute paper roses recently and used them grandly for this card :) I also used the Martha Stewart three in one punch which I added to my stash now :). The Cheery Lynn flourish and the joy crafts butterfly added a good beauty. I gave a light watery coat of green to the polka dot paper too.

I'm sharing this wonderful hymn with you today.

When I survey the wondrous Cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain, I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride

See from His head, His hands, His feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did ever such love and sorrow meet?
Or thorns compose, so rich a crown

Oh the wonderful Cross, oh the wonderful Cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
Oh the wonderful Cross, oh the wonderful Cross
All who gather here by grace, draw near and bless Your name

Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing, so divine
Demands my soul, my life, my all

Oh the wonderful Cross, oh the wonderful Cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
Oh the wonderful Cross, oh the wonderful Cross
All who gather here by grace, draw near and bless Your name

May God bless you!
