Shabby chic projects

Hello and welcome to today's special post! (it's really going to be loooonnnng :) )

Yes, this project making was very special to me as it was "Shabby chic" and hope it will be to you as well! :) Have been doing this for more than a week and today I got to finish :)

Beyond Grey challenges wanted a  dinner ware (an altered one) included in our  project and it should be of a shabby chic type. So here is what I came up with:

I altered a mason jar type coffee bottle and made a complementing altered box for the same. You can see the details below each picture.Hope you'll find them useful.

Here are the closeups

1.The bottle

Covered the bottle with layers of DCWV French stack papers before layering the ribbons and laces.
I had to wait a long time for the drying process and then added the other embellishments. If see closely, you can see the spoon with the daisy flower. Painted the spoon with pearl metallic paint, added a flower and a handmade tag.Have distressed the tag with frayed burlap distress ink and stamped the sentiment with the same and the tiny metal tea pot is a new addition to my stash from Bits n pieces paper boutique. I've also added a vintage flourish die cut butterfly from Joy crafts.

The other side of the bottle:

Have attached a tiny button and another metal tea pot charm.

2. The close up of the the embellies
3. The box, front and side view

For the box, I altered some cardboard pieces, stuck them together, and covered them with DCWV French stack papers but it was a tedious process ;) bringing them together! and for the center part, I used itsy bitsy's fancy panel die cuts, embossed one with Corture creations trellis EF and inked the same with tartered rose distress ink and left the other plain. Punched out some flowers and leaves from the same stack of papers and added pink daisies and another die cut butterfly. The stamps I've used were sent to me by dear Grace. You can visit her at th-ink-ingofyou.blogspot.in

Then laces and pearls around the box to the added beauty.

Below are the items I altered
